Phuket Tourists, the Phuket expatriate community and Phuket Thai residents
At one time or another we are all tourists and we all have something in common. When we go into our hotel in a foreign country, we pick up the TV Remote control, and channel surf. We are firstly looking for any TV station that we can understand. (Note that 78% of international tourists visiting Thailand have English as their 1st or 2nd language) Secondly we look for anything about where we are (in this instance Phuket Island). The Tourism TV Channel fills both of these criteria.
Equally we are not resting on our laurels and make sure that we get regular and constant feed back from our viewers.
- This has told us that we have tourists that are regular daily viewers, with the Tourism Channel is their first channel of choice.
- The Phuket expatriate community falls into two distinct categories viewers who watch every day viewers and others who tune in maybe every other day.
- Our research tells us that Thai Residents are avid watchers.
With interesting, designed content, viewers will watch for a while and more importantly, they'll keep coming back. Our content rotates frequently- we're designed for the channel surfing crowd.
